Description

Rightpoint, a Genpact (NYSE: G) company, is where human experience and advanced technology solutions converge to create transformative business outcomes. As a digital experience agency and technology powerhouse, we specialize in translating user insights into scalable, platform-driven solutions. In partnership with leading technology providers, we help organizations accelerate growth through platform innovation and experience-led transformation.

Our Commitment to You
No matter who you are, where you come from, who you love, what you believe, or what you get excited about, we bring people together to do phenomenal work. That's what makes us Rightpoint!

We are seeking a Senior iOS Architect to lead and shape the next generation of mobile experiences at Rightpoint. This is not a “keep the lights on” role—it’s a chance to architect solutions at the frontier of Apple’s platform: Apple Intelligence, on-device machine learning, MFi hardware device integration, and agentic AI-driven experiences. While iOS is your home base, you’ll also bring cross-platform perspective—leveraging React Native, Expo, and modern web technologies when the project calls for it.
You’ll be a hands-on architect and technical leader, guiding a team of mobile developers while staying deep in the code yourself. You’ll work across multiple high-impact projects partnering closely with designers, product strategists, and cross-functional engineering teams.
If you’re energized by emerging Apple technologies, comfortable spanning native and cross-platform worlds, thrive in a fast-moving consulting environment, and want to define how mobile experiences are built for Fortune 500 clients, this is your role.
Although our team operates 100 % remotely, we are only considering applicants who reside in the Northeast/New England region. We also do not work with recruitment agencies or provide visa sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead iOS architecture and technical strategy across multiple client engagements, making critical decisions on system design, data flow, API contracts, and deployment patterns
  • Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI and standard Apple frameworks
  • Architect experiences that leverage Apple Intelligence, on-device ML (Core ML, Create ML), and integrate with Siri and App Intents for agentic, context-aware user experiences
  • Lead hardware and IoT integrations using Core Bluetooth (BLE), NFC, ARKit, DriverKit, and MFi accessories frameworks—connecting iPhones and iPads to certified devices, sensors, and peripherals
  • Collaborate directly with UX/UI designers working in Figma, bridging design intent to pixel-perfect, performant implementations with shared design tokens and component libraries
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile features aligned with business requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews
  • Implement and maintain application architecture, including dependency management and networking layers
  • Drive engineering excellence—CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, modular architecture, and developer tooling
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, identify root causes, and implement robust solutions
  • Interpret technical requirements with some ambiguity and deliver work autonomously
  • Follow Agile best practices, participating in sprint ceremonies as needed
  • Evaluate and recommend cross-platform strategies (React Native, Expo) when project scope, timeline, or business requirements favor a shared codebase—while ensuring iOS quality standards are never compromised

What We’re Looking For:
  • 8+ years of professional iOS development experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped, production-grade native applications
  • Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and modern Apple frameworks (Combine, Swift Concurrency, Observation, SwiftData)
  • Proven experience as a technical lead or architect on large-scale, multi-team iOS projects
  • Strong understanding of app architecture patterns and when to apply
  • Experience with hardware integrations: BLE (Core Bluetooth), NFC, MFi program, DriverKit, accessories frameworks, or IoT device communication
  • Comfort navigating and modernizing legacy Objective-C codebases alongside modern Swift
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD for iOS and automated testing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills—you can present architectural decisions to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders with equal confidence
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a passion for mentoring and growing other developers

What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience building with Apple Intelligence, App Intents, SiriKit, or on-device ML (Core ML, Create ML, Vision, Natural Language)
  • Exposure to agentic AI patterns—designing systems where LLMs, intelligent agents, or AI-driven workflows enhance mobile app experiences
  • Familiarity with Figma’s developer handoff workflows, design tokens, and Figma-to-code tooling for bridging design and engineering
  • Experience in consulting, agency, or multi-client environments where adaptability and speed are essential
  • Track record working in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government) with secure coding practices and compliance requirements
  • Contributions to open-source iOS projects or speaking at iOS/Apple developer conferences
  • Cross-platform development experience using React Native and Expo—shipping production apps with shared codebases while maintaining native-quality UX
  • Next.js and React development experience, enabling full-stack contributions and tight alignment with web engineering teams
  • Experience with additional cross-platform frameworks (KMP, Flutter) and a clear perspective on when native is the right answer
